The purpose of this lab video is to show the viewer a UCS C-collection server, installation of VMware ESXi, and migrate a “bodily” CUCM server to a digital system. This video may also show the configuration of the redundant array of impartial disks (RAID) array controller on the C-collection server as well as setup an EtherChannel on the Cisco transfer and NIC Teaming on the VMware aspect This lab exercise is broken up into five videos. section 1: partly one the viewer will see a phone call made among two phones which can be registered to the physical CUCM server. This phone call will demonstrate that the telephone device is up and operational firstly of the lab. After the telephone call the disaster restoration formulation (DRS) built into CUCM will likely be used to perform a back of the CUCM database. subsequent the lab will use the Cisco integrated control Console (CIMC) on the UCS C-collection server to configure the RAID Array controller on the UCS C-collection server. The C-collection server in this lab has five hard disk drives (HDD), which two will likely be configured into a raid 1 or mirrored set. The ultimate three HDD will likely be configured into a RAID 6 configuration. section 2: partly two the viewer will see the install of VMware ESXi four.1 and the preliminary configuration of ESXI on the UCS C-collection server. section three: partly three the viewer will see the configuration of NIC Teaming, which is configured from vSphere shopper on the ESXi host, and Etherchannel which is configured on the Cisco Catalyst transfer.
